ABOUT

I'm a young man in a band called Lucky Dragon No. 5. We enjoy a variety of genres though this site only allowed me to list 4; including blues, folk, alternative, metal, psychedelic, indie, classic rock, r&b, hip hop, electronic, punk, grunge, new wave, and many many more. However our portfolio is fairly small not all of these genres have had a chance be expressed through our music yet. Especially with COVID bringing many things to a halt.

We're looking for a bass player, however a few other instruments are listed on here that we'd be open to working with. That being said, our primary concern at the moment is bass and those people will be prioritised until we find a bassist. If you play multiple instruments tjats also great even if they're not all listed, as long as one or more of them are listed.

We just had our second practice since after lockdowns started, and we're ready to get the gears turning again. We're between 20 and 25 and we're very close friends, so we will have to get along with you on a personal level. We're not far yet but we intend to work hard to make it for as long as it takes.

We're based between Kansas City, Kansas and Gardner, Kansas, but if you have jam space of your own the more the merrier. I think that's how you spell that? Anyway, reach out. I'll be happy to hear from you.

Also I shouldn't have to say this but because of the times I'd like to note
We're open to any race gender sexuality religion or anything. To clarify, IF YOU ARE BLACK WHITE HISPANIC ASIAN MIDDLE EASTERN INDIAN NATIVE INUIT BOY GIRL TRANS CIS GAY STRAIGHT BI PAN POLY UNDECIDED CATHOLIC JEWISH HINDU ATHEIST PAGAN SPIRITUAL MUSLIM CAT PERSON DOG PERSON OR HORSE PERSON...you are perfectly safe with us
We only discriminate against d*ckheads.
Please, feel free and safe to reach out to us

EQUIPMENT

Moss(Rhythm/Lead Acoustic/Electric Guitar; Vocals):
4 electric Guitars
2 acoustic Guitars
2 electric bass guitars
Recording equipment for up to 4 instruments/voices
1 standard sized amp
1 mini-amp
1 half stack

(For obvious reasons I don't have as many details on my bandmates' gear as I do my own, so I apologize for the decrease in detail)

Chris(Drums; Vocals):
Enough drum gear to make multiple kits
Drum mics
Recording gear for 1 drum kit
I THINK 1 acoustic and 2 electric guitars
A pedal board because he loves his guitarists
1 mini amp
MAYBE a standard sized amp, but I'm not sure

Ian(Electric/Acoustic Rhythm/Lead guitar; Vocals):
2 electric guitars
1 acoustic 12 string guitar
A USB microphone
1 mediocre amp

Van(Vocals):
1 acoustic/electric guitar
1 microphone

PLUS:
Our ex-bandmate moved away and has a lot of our gear including
A full PA system
A keyboard
Mics and stands
Cables
And a few other misc items
Only thing is he moved away to Wichita, so we have to take a road trip as a band to get our stuff from him. Wichita is 3-4 hours from where we are based so the trip will involve at least 6 hours of drive time, packing up gear, unloading gear, etc. Whether or not you're involved in this trip/errand depends only on when you join and when we go.
As of now, we have no plans in motion to do so, but it will be a future excursion.
