ABOUT

I’m recently retired from a long career as a psychologist and have been passionate about music my entire life. Now that I have time to devote more time and energy to playing, I’m looking to join a serious blues band. Open to studio work as well as live gigs. I venture into other genres, but I'm mostly a blues player.

Influences

I’ve developed my own personal style but have been influenced by many of the harp players whom I admire, including Little Walter, Big Walter, Taj Mahal, Howlin’ Wolf, Charlie Musselwhite, Martin Lang, Dennis Gruenling, and others.

EQUIPMENT

Many amps (tube and solid state), several mics specifically designed for harmonica, several carefully selected effect pedals, and a full range of harmonicas in every key. Lately I've been playing with a Bulletini mic, through a Lone Wolf Delay pedal and a Lone Wolf Alpha Wolf pedal into a (circa 1965) Fender blackface Champ amp.
