I've been taking lessons for roughly 8 years but I lost count.
I'm currently working on a rhythmic illusions worksheet. Basically I play 4 measures to a click and displace the following 4 measures by a 16th note.

Tool, porcupine tree, Peter Gabriel (I love the album "security", I like "Melt", "up" has some solid tracks like "the Barry Williams show", "more than this" and "darkness". I also really like old Genesis like "Foxtrot" and "the lamb lies down on Broadway"), I really like M.i.a. (her old stuff like "kala" as well as her new stuff like "aim" and "matangi" as well as her latest singles"), Rage against the Machine, System of a Down, Robert Glasper, Jacob Collier, Gojira, Punjabi MC, Baka Beyond, Rush, and lots more I can't think of right now.
