I'm looking to make some noise with a group of fun musicians. I have experience performing live with a previous band where I played drums on mostly pop-rock stuff from the 60s and 70s. I'd enjoy playing drums or rhythm guitar with a band that likes grunge, alternative rock, punk, pop-punk, dirty rock, etc. Basically, if it sounds anything like the bands I listed in my influences, then we should make sweet sweet music together. ;-) I'm also open to other styles of music.

Influences

I grew up with classic rock, grunge rock, and country rock and I still enjoy playing those styles today. I prefer to play with some grit and heavy beats, but I'm open to most styles.

Bands I typically play along to are Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Glorious Sons, The Black Keys, Guns N Roses, Sum 41, Green Day, Linkin Park, The Beatles, and the like.

EQUIPMENT

Two electric guitars, one acoustic guitar, acoustic drum set. I don't have a PA. My amp is a Line 6 Spider IV 30, but willing to upgrade to a larger amp for live gigs if needed.

I don't really have space at home to practice with a band, so would need to find bandmates with practice space, or rent space.
