I have been playing bass since High School; in various bands that have been semi-professional. John Anthony and Legend (rock and country) for about 2 years playing virtually every weekend in the early 80's. Jim Patrick and the Grand River Band (Country and Rock) playing every weekend in the mid 80's. The Trek Band (Rock) in the late 80's and early 90's playing about every other weekend. Killer Trout in Ann Arbor during mid 80's playing almost any type of music that we liked as a side band. Other smaller projects playing weddings and union type gigs as available in the mid to late 90's. During the early 2000’s played in an occasionally working, classic rock band. Within the past 4 years I was working with two different 4 -piece Blues/ Rock Bands. I am currently working with a 4 or 5 piece (depending upon the nature of the gig) country band. Besides bass, I am primarily a back up vocalist but also can and do sing leads.

Influences
ALmost any good bass player (and even some not so good ones) that I have listened to have influenced me. Early influences were Donald Duck Dunn, Paul McCartney, Phil Lesh and Jack Cassidy.

EQUIPMENT
Adequate for most small to medium clubs. Larger venues might require reinforcement. Ampeg, Sunn, Crate (amps), Trace Elliot, TB1 EV's and Hartke (cabinets), Fender Rumble. Several basses (currently playing a Schecter and 5-String Schecter basses).
