ABOUT

I can play everything to record my own instrumental music. I only play bass professionally. I don't want to singi I'm a freelance for hire musician. I don't want to be in a garage band. I don't want to be in a Country or Southern rock or 70s Disco band unless they're touring and making money. I'm willing to sit in and fill in for somebody that's out and play whatever kind of cover crap you're playing if the pay is $300 a night. If you're touring, have a booking agent, and gigs lined up I'm interested in full time employment. If you need somebody to play bass for studio work for money I'll do it but I'm not going to be manipulated in the studio by wanna be sound technicians that think they
are orchestra leaders. I don't have to play something a hundred times in the studio.for it to sound good. If you don't think what you're playing sounds good before you go to the studio, stay the hell out of the studio. Some studios will rob you blind have you playing your own stuff 100 times until you don't even recognize anymore. Is you are any good you should know it and not have to play it more than two or three times in the studio.

I will play play bass guitar and/or lead guitar (improvise what I think sounds good) for someone's original music.. what I
I know enough about music theory that I can
I play to record my own instrumental music

I played professionally from 1975 to 1981 in Virginia. I did about 500 shows. I started two bands. Flew with a band named Prism to Cuba and played cat scratch fever etc. for a month. Played freelance mostly in military bases and country western bars in Virginia. Played in a bluegrass band in Western Pennsylvania for a few years. Then country rock In florida. Toured with a Hawian band and two Disco bands in Virginia and the Carolinas. Played in church. In 2008 I played in Florida with a band named Legacy. In 2013 I played with the Michael Wright band in florida. Did studio work in Norfolk Virginia for an agent of a band named Survivor. Did studio work in west palm beach for Michael Wright. Bill Rolling Stones best displays my stage attitude. That's not to say that I haven't played bass guitar while lying down on my back on stage before. I practice every day.
