Band to Join.ABOUT
I recently retired, and would like to expand my network of local musicians. I have two desires, t1) to jam and have fun with good people and/or (2) to put together a blues/soul/rock/country show band that does something other than (or at least in addition to) the VFW band stuff, maybe some blues/soul originals. I play with some folks that do bar covers (and some others who do originals), but they are not interested in playing outside of old top 40 or playing blues. Shooting for something that is a cut above the average bar band that plays requests or blues band that only plays 1 4 5. Level of commitment and time investment will depend on finding that magic chemistry of similar interest/goals, talent/experience, personality etc. Here is a link to listen to s://.be/Womubyb9wsk (you have to add the first 4 letters h.t.t.p.s, the algorithm here wont print it) This was done 2006, original, I did all parts except drums, enough to give you an idea what I am about. My guitar style is loose (I play what I am feeling, in my own style). Most bands I have been in I did at least half of the lead vocals. I can sing harmony where my range allows. Peace!.
