Ive been playing since i was 11. I still use my first guitar i ever owned regularly, it fits me well. I have only been in one band, as a drummer, like 7 years ago. I was mostly into drumming until i was 17 or so when i started playing guitar more. I wasnt too serious until last year when i really picked it up as an artistic outlet. I found my tone as well as my style. I recently i have gotten into theory, worked on speed and accuracy a lot and have progressed through the last year greatly. I am looking too be apart of a metal/rock band and grow my talents furthor with fellow musicians. I have recently gotten together with a few people of differnt musical tasted and jammed, i think its a valuable learning experience, evan if it doesnt go anywere.

Influences:

I might sound like a sell out to say this but kirk hammet is my biggest influence. I recognize he is not the best guitarest, or even fastest. But his style of metal is more or less what i try and replicate within mine. I also like a lot of hendrix riffs, I listen to a lot of sublime, though it isnt metal, they are my favorite band. I llike to listen to stevie ray vaughan, and clapton as well. (i was named after him) which brings me back to a big influence in my dad who was always playing his guitar as i grew up.
