We're a recording and gigging Jazz / Rock group looking for a vocalist, keys or horn players.
We definitely want a 4th bandmate, preferably a vocalist & lyricist (even better if they play an additional instrument like keys or a horn). But we are open to other instruments. We are also open to people who just want to collaborate on certain songs (live or recording) who aren't looking for a full time band right now. We prefer someone skilled in writing lyrics and who can do so for our complex music. However, we can also write lyrics for you based on your vocal style. We are also open to original music you can offer, or cover song ideas (but prefer to focus on originals). Strong improv skills and music reading abilities are preferred.
We have each played our instruments 15+ years and have played together a couple years. Pre-covid, we had no issue getting gigs and played venues like Substation and El Corazon. We had monthly gigs lined up all last summer at numerous venues including Seamonster & Tim's Tavern, which all got cancelled due to COVID. Also, we have a practice / recording space in West Seattle and are all vaccinated.
