I grew up around family who always played music and I have been playing myself for as long as I can remember. Looking to branch out and jam with people who share and can help broaden my musical interests and maybe start a band. I'm a solid rhythm guitar pIayer and singer. My vocal timbre has been described as melodic/bluesy. Aside from guitar and vocals I am a strong upright bassist, and I am rhythmically intuitive.

Influences
While my main musical interest is in rock, folk, and blues pieces (Bob Dylan, Lou Reed [Songs From a Room], Tom Petty [Wildflowers], Woody Guthree, some Beatles, etc.) I am also interested in covering more contemporary rock groups like The Pixies, Modest Mouse, The Black Keys, The Talking Heads, etc. My interest covers a wide range of genres and I love discovering new music. I like experiemental bands like Beck, Zappa, Cake or Syd Barett at times, and some weirder Beatles tunes like 'Only A Northern Song' or 'She said, she said.' I am a huge Jack white fan, both of his work with popular rock and many if his obscure oddities and stranger pieces.
