ABOUT

Emma Sundvik is a young international jazz artist. Inspired by old school greats such as Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald, she will take you back in time with her smooth vocals, melodic scatting, and warm trumpet tone. Emma graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, studying voice and trumpet in the Performance Major. While attending Berklee, she has also received the Outstanding Jazz Vocalist Award, Berklee Achievement Grant and Voice Department Achievement Award for her successes.
So far in her career, Emma has worked with jazz greats Kurt Elling, Sheila Jordan, Peter Eldridge (New York Voices), Maggie Scott, and Steve Zegree, among others. She has performed at private and public venues around the globe such as Jazz at Lincoln Center (NYC), La Ribera Jazz (Bilbao), Cafe Mercedes Jazz (Valencia) and Wally's Cafe (Boston). For now, Emma is based in Valley Cottage, NY and hopefully soon you can find her there performing either solo or with one of her groups.
Listen to her debut release, “Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most”, on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.
