I'm looking for both bandmates and casual collaborators! I have two bands, funk-rock doing originals and twisted covers and alt-rock doing mostly covers. We have vocals, drums, bass, and guitar coverage. We could use another instrument to expand our voice. A keys player would be great, but a second guitar or almost any other instrument could work too (including a second bass).
It could be a singer-songwriter session, a bass-battle, an open jam, musical games, or other creative situations. I'm looking for project-level work and not another band. I currently play bass for Peanut Butter Blanket (original rock/funk) and Chasing Sunshine (alt-acoustic). Played bass for Up Past 10 (pop/classic rock) from 2016 to March 2023. I have experience with songwriting, production, mastering, live sound, and studio electronics.

Influences
Almost everything: prog, rock, funk, world, jazz, classical, bluegrass, fusion, folk, grunge, punk, electronic, etc. I grew up on prog rock (Yes, Genesis, Rush), fell in love with punk and grunge (Fugazi, Jane's Addiction, RHCP), and learned to respect classical and jazz. I've grown to love different music in many different contexts. If it finds its way from my ears to my soul, I'm all about it.

EQUIPMENT
Various 4- and 5-string basses, guitars, amps, and other toys. We have a home studio that can host 8-10 musicians. It's equipped with a 16-channel mixer and PA. I produce with Studio One.
