ABOUT

I classify myself as a rhythm guitar player that can occasionally take on a lead role if needed. I have perfect pitch (and working on tempo) and have been playing in church (mainly songs you hear on spirit 105.3 FM and KLOV104.5 FM) for the past 3 years. We lost our drummer a year and a half ago, and have learned to fill that role as well. I don't consider myself to be an out-of-this-world guitar player, but I know where beat one is :P

Influences

I am a HUGE U2 fan, and all of my equipment was purchased with the intent of replicating the tone that The Edge uses. I also know a few Vanhalen lyrics/techniques, but would not consider myself to be an expert.

EQUIPMENT

Vox AC 30
Fender Blues Jr 12"
EvenTide Time Factor Parallel Delay
Boss Chorus Pedal
Dunes Earthquaker Overdrive (this thing is pretty darn good and will give an Ibanez tube screamer a run for its money).
Cry Baby Wah pedal.
Electro-Harmonix C9 Organ Pedal

Fender SSS Stratocaster (maple neck)

Fender HH Stratocaster with a Floyd Rose tremolo system. (rosewood neck with a modded pickup for infinite sustain.)

Fender SSH Stratocaster tuned BEADF#B. I can get away with playing in baritone tuning but need a longer neck for ideal intonation.

Dean 12-string acoustic.
