ABOUT

I recently returned to school to complete my music education degree. I have been singing and playing since I was a child. I started out in 5th grade on the trumpet, then switched to the Tuba in 7th grade. I first went to college on a music scholarship on Tuba. I also began my singing career early in life by singing in church choirs.

I was selected for All-state chorus both my junior and senior years in high school. While in college I took part in marching band, concert band, brass ensemble, jazz band, collegiate chorus, jazz choir, and took part in several musicals.

While at college I also was a member of a christian rap group and helped to form a traveling chorus for the Baptist Student Union.

Since leaving college I have spent the last 15 years singing with the Denver Gay Men's Chorus, the Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus, and Oursong Atlanta. I have played both Tuba and Euphonium in both the Mile High Freedom Band and the Atlanta Freedom Band.

I have also done a few solo performances on the tuba and Euphonium performing classical, christian, jazz, and pop.
