I mostly play Lead Guitar and write music. I took guitar lessons for two years, but mostly focused on technique instead of music literacy. I became a rhythm guitarist within three months of starting and developed my skills based on what I had to learn. I eventually progressed to being a lead guitarist in other groups and became a major contributor for song writing. I mostly work with Hard Rock and Heavy Metal although I would enjoy and be willing to experiment in other genres I found interesting.

Influences
My major guitar influences are Tony Iommi and James Hatfield as I usually write songs centered on guitar lines rather than lyrics. I choose to believe my soloing style, at least the structure, is similar to Guns N Roses and Iron Maiden as I prefer to have a melody going through the entire solo instead of nonsensical and uninteresting guitar gymnastics. However if I do not have time to construct/learn a solo completely before a deadline I learn the most stand out parts of the solo and improvise the rest.

EQUIPMENT
I own a Charvel with a Floyd Rose setup that I usually keep in E flat but I can get it adjusted for other tunings. If a set requires alternative tunings I keep a low grade Michael Kelly which can be tuned on the fly. I have two amplifiers for practice at home but they are in no way acceptable for live performance. I have an assortment of Guitar pedals that are used primarily to get the desired sound at home I cannot get from my amplifiers including pedals for Distortion, Noise Cancellation, Reverb, and a Wah-Wah Pedal.
