Bass Player needed

We (Filthy Conception) are looking for a new bass player. Our current bassist is moving for work. Right now we play the following 20-ish songs. Our last bass player had <1 year experience so the bass lines for the songs we have been playing are relatively light, at least as recorded. There is certainly room for bass development with all of the songs. Our song selection is varied and we are open to learning new songs. Logistically, though it does make sense to build on the song base we have created so far. Background and some lead vocals would be fine if you are interested. What we do need is for you to have your own gear with a decent size amp, be over 21, and have the time to learn the songs and play out. Joe, drummer, and I are 28 and 29.

Equipment List:

We have recently played at the Rain Desert, Voodoo Grill, JD Coopers, various local house parties, and we have potential to fill 1.5-2 hours of a 4 hour time block with another local band. We have a good practice space in Thompson (NE Connecticut) and are looking at practicing about 2 times a week, with one of those or an extra being an open mic night or gig.

We have a PA and supporting equipment to play out for parties or in medium size clubs. We just need a bass player and a couple of dedicated weeks to get started up.
