I have recently released a 5-song EP entitled "The Leap". You can hear it at ://tompenhale .

Most of "The Leap" was recorded at my home studio, doing vocals, flute, djembe, and electric wind instrument (EWI) tracks there. With the EWI, the range, quality, and the control you have over the 356 sounds is very impressive. Some are very authentic to the instrument they emulate, while others have their own distinctive voice.

I am looking to form or join a band with instrumentation like this:

Acoustic/rhythm guitar
Electric guitar
Bass guitar
Keyboards
Drums

Vocal talent is a plus. While sight reading is helpful, being able to play by ear and improvise is more important.

I have many other songs in various stages of completion. These songs are a fusion of rock and jazz, with touches of folk, funk, blues, world fusion, and latin. Some have lyrics, while others will be entirely instrumental giving players room to stretch out. I'd like to work on other's songs as part of the process.
