I want to play my original songs and also play some cover songs ,I have played in this area only one time ,at a medical fundraiser for two handicaped children.I set the entire night of music up for this fundraiser with some well known musicians here in Evansville, Indiana ,everyone told me I did a great job of setting the music up for this fundraiser .I set up all kinds of music for this show .starting with me playing two songs that I wrote myself,the first one was country and I did it as a solo act .the second was blues in the range of B.B.king and S.R.V with a full band behind me. then the other bands played ,alternative/collage rock and newer styles or todays rock/blues/country/dancemusic 70's style.and somemore blues from Tommy stillwell band.We all had fun playing at this fundraiser and loved helping this family out.
Larry Neil did a fantastic job on the sound mixing the entire night .we even got a write up in the local paper about this fundraiser ,that sure felt great.and I set it all up in seven days ,by myself.//e-mail me at : FortyFiveCal
I have plans now to get together a Southern rock band /classic rock /blues band .this band will play NASHVILLE,Memphis,Louisville area this next year ,we will do Evansville in the future .maybe late in the summer time .I have recording sessions on saturdays from noon to 3pm or 4pm 2 times a month in order to getting the right musicians for this band .I'm looking for musicians that have a self drive deep inside themselves to want to do the very best they can and to want to take this band to bigger and better places .and also having fun and making some cash gigging too.no we won't become super famous musicians over night we all know it take time to come to that ,but give it some time and play very very good and theres no telling how far we all can go with this band .I want musicians who believe in them selves and want to really do something with there music instead of JUST PLAYING EVANSVILE AND ONLY THAT ,I believe theres alot more places to play .theres nothing wrong with Evansville ,but I have bigger plans than just playing one town ,I hope every musicians feels the same way as I do .I just hope people read this profile of mine and see I have a very strong drive to be very very good at playing the music this band will be playing ,remember the people listening to the music are the real one's who pay the cash for us the band too play and get paid at the end of every night we play ,and the fans are the most important part of any band playing ,without fans ,theres no reason to play music, right. Shadow.my Amps are both Peavey one is a 112 bandit with a Scorpion speaker.and my other amp is a Delta Blue that makes the Blues sound soooo good.I us a dod acoustic one pedal and a crybaby wah wah pedal and a korg sampling pedal.I also use a dod vofx voice prosesser.Sampson 16 channel mixer /Rickenbacker P.A System /
Sonic speakers.and sometimes I use a Zoom rhythm track 1.2.3 drum /bass machine when I record in my studio by myself /and also a Shure beta 57 for my vocals
