Rootsy, vintage rock and roll rarities -- an unruly admixture. That's what we play. A lot of '50's & '60's material, but not exclusively so. Four-, or maybe five-, or maybe six-piece band of typical instrumental array. We've generally been playing out once a month. Currently on the lookout for a lead guitarist, a drummer, and a female singer or two.

Influences:

Whoever's songs we're doing, since we're a cover band. The usuals: C. Berry, B. Holly, Beatles, Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Neil Young, Dylan, Elvis, Orbison, Carl Perkins, Cream, Monkees, Ventures. Not quite so usual: Love, Leonard Cohen, Fairport Convention, Los Shakers, Lesley Gore, Ronettes, Left Banke, Django Reinhardt, Nick Drake, Bruce Channel, Bob Wills, Don & Dewey, Bobby Parker, Peter & Gordon, Gram Parsons, Jackie DeShannon, Richard Thompson

Equipment List:

Gretsch and Rickenbacker guitars; a Gibson acoustic; a mandola; a Vox Continental organ; amazing and heavy Fender amplifiers; a Mackie PA head, Shure mics, and lots of little monitors.
