I've been playing guitar for 15 years, focusing mainly on progressive rock/metal and technical death metal. While I enjoy playing covers, I'm most into writing tightly-orchestrated original tracks. My everyday practice is focused on rhythm and lead guitar playing, but I'm a semi-capable bass player as well.

My first gigging band was a technical death metal band. We toured with a set of originals that we eventually recorded and released in 2014. I share lead/rhythm duties with one other guitarist on the record, which is available at Band Camp (Band: Infinite Regression, Album: The Fold).

I also practiced and gigged with songs from progressive death metal album written by a music theorist at my undergraduate institution. He eventually recorded the full album and posted it on Band Camp (Band: Florid Ekstasis, Album: AN, Effloresce as Arid Dots).

Otherwise, I've done a lot of one-off gigs. For example, I played a cover of In the Presence of Enemies Pt. 1 by Dream Theater at the Princeton Physics Dept. Recital (find on You\Tube with /watch?v=o5Acrew7FIU).
