I am looking for someone I look forward to playing with rather than enduring someone for the sake of playing.
In these times of COVID venues don't book bands, so I'm looking for a talented musician to start a duo for a diverse series of gigs: from a mellow cocktail hours at weddings to a dance party, rock gigs for bars, poppier gigs for cafes. I can sing almost anything and have a good stage presence.
Mostly, I am looking for someone versatile (for example a string player or a keyboard player) who is professional and talented and believes in equality and diversity. Any sort of minority welcome to apply. Any instrument that could stand alone is welcome, even a synth; I don't care. I'm all for breaking the rules and having fun with it as long as our act is awesome and professional.
Music is my juice. Performing, be it in a basement for practice or in front of a big audience, makes me happy, and I look forward to continually expand my repertoire.
I am laid back and hate drama and discrimination of any sort. I want a safe musical space where both os us can thrive and explore different genres having fun with what we do.
Professional, reliable, on time, prepared: I am looking for chemistry and professionalism. No lyrics or cords on stage. I have plenty of live experience, pro gear, in ear monitor, PA system, mixer.
From Cranberries and Sheryl Crow to Greenday and Offspring going through Etta James and Nina Simone. Led Zeppelin, Jessie J, Porno for Pyros, you name it. I can sing in many styles and can comfortably hit the low notes of a typical male range all the way up to high notes.
I cannot read music and I'm not musically educated but you can count on me to come prepared.

1 harmonica and 1 ukulele I don't know how to play lol
