Influences
Some artists that I look up to alot are: Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Mariah Carey, Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Alicia Keys, Raul Midon, Whitney Houston, Gavin Degraw, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Evanescence, Faith Hill, KT Tunstall, Anna Nalick, and the list goes on and on. I am always motivated by shows like American Idol which promotes music in younger people and I love music so much I run a music store. lol...I just started an online singing competition too .freewebs/webvocalistoftheyear/ we are in our first season and just about to crown our first winner. EQUIPMENT
Recording I like to use Audio Technica AT2020 microphones and Shure SM58. For shows I like to use an assortment of Audio Technica mics because they are very bright sounding. On occasion my backup mic if need be is my Roland DR-10.
