I am a 40 yr. old female who has been playing drums for about 6yrs. I'm pretty much self-taught, playing mostly by ear. I have yet to play with a group and from what my good friend and mentor says I'm ready to start looking. My preferred style of music includes alternative, modern rock and I also like alot of classic rock. I must confess I'm still working on my confidence level. I'm really afraid of "choking" when put on the spot, but my mentor says my playing is above average and I really need to get into a group. I'd be willing to give it a shot if you'd be willing to try me out. Just looking to hook up with the right people and just have some fun. I picked up my style from such bands as Hoobastank, Green Day, All American Rejects, Maroon 5, and the more recent Staind.

Equipment List:

My kit is a Mapex Pro M which includes 10",12",13",16",18",and 22" bass, and 14" maple snare. Cymbals are mostly Sabian. Double bass pedal(still learning)
