Vocalist, Keyboard, Cello, Electronic Music.ABOUT
Hey whatsup funkadelic traveller. I'm a restless music explorer who often lacks the discipline to settle into a particular genre, with a calling to speak truth to power and bring love, freedom, and change by challenging the messed up systems in our society that truncate our souls.
Hoping to form a three piece band (maybe 4?) of quirky exploratory rock music and maybe do some shows. Looking for co-creator imaginators- I play with a drummer who enjoys non-standard music, but we're looking for a mad scientist keyboardist who can read music (some of my songs are notated) and may have jazz inclinations, and a cellist (there are tons of creative possibilities for cello in my songs and I can notate if needed). Would be awesome if that person can sing. If anyone who joins has their own songs, I'd love to support those and fit in to them creatively as well.
Just as a note- though I respect these genres we are not going in the direction of metal, country, standard blues, bluegrass, or standard classic rock. :-)
Peace!

Particle Escape
Particle Escape Genre: Progressive
Ok, so I might have gone a bit overboard with this one haha. It has the widest range I've sung in a song, I think.

UnRavelling
UnRavelling
This is a made up genre I'm exploring and calling "Chamber Rock" It's midi sampled and hasn't been performed yet, so use your imagination. All has notation.

all the way Year: 2021 Genre: Rock
though not a style I'm exploring these days, I was happy with how the spastic high bass lines worked on the verses and the galactic chaos of the end of the song.

i strive to live in time Album: Axons & Dendrites Genre: Rock
After tediously taking months to record and edit each of my songs I got fed up and wanted to just lay stuff down fast and free. The results were a happy sloppy garage style group of songs, this being one.

embrionic rough sketch
embrionic rough sketch Genre: Progressive
I finished this sketch 1 hour ago as a sample of what I might send a drummer for a song making collaboration and imagining. I'm actually not in to most progressive music as it usually sounds a bit too contrived and synthetic to me...experimental and explorative fits my choice a bit more. I don't mind simplicity at all, so long as it feels different...even if it is almost an imperceptible subtlety...

mix turned out a bit sloppy :-) don't quite like the effect on the vocals... the drums are a bit off...which is why I'm looking for a drummer!
