We've been mixing up acoustic guitar and grungy electric with some flowing riffs. We use a lot of power chords. The sound we pursue is simple chords played in a manner that is not light, yet not hard. A medium of energy that allows for meaningful or meaningless lyrics without resorting to shock value, sappy love, life sucks, or "i'm so punk my guitar is pink" music, savvy? But I must make it perfectly clear that we're down with the pink guitar.

Influences:

Violent Femmes, Meat Puppets, Nirvana, The Cure, Billy Idol, The Offspring, Phish, and Sublime, among many others, but these stand out as most important.

Equipment List:

Not much, but working on it. At the moment we have a 10 watt practice amp, a guitar that works when the tone is set high and is not bumped, an acoustic guitar, and most importantly- a little house with plenty of room for practice. It'll come together. Until then we work with what we have.
