I am a classicaly trained double bassist. I consider myself a freelance artist and have performed in a wide variety of venues and musical ensembles. I read music and was a music teacher in public school for 13 years and have conducting experience. My experience includes playing in orchestras, musicals, big bands, blues bands, small groups for social events, jazz trios and duos and large R&B bands. I have some vocal ability and can sing some lead and lots of backup. Looking for a working group.

I have a wide variety of influences a short list includes:
Francois Rabbath, Edgar Meyer and Gary Karr from the classical world. Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten and Harvey Brooks have been my electric bass influences. Jazz players include Rufus Ried, Dave Holland and Ray Brown.
