ABOUT

Find me over on SC: s o u n d c l o u d c o m / yanashen

We are looking for our Joe Hahn. I'm the rapper, guitar, keys, and added singer option. Topaz is our singer, Anza is our singer (she might play bass too - I'm still unclear on that). Mike is our guitarist, and Jon is our drums.

(The whole band is mostly all over but odds are high we will be going to Los Angeles at some point. The internet works for those of us who make it work.)

NEWEST TRACK: "Faint" by Linkin Park. Mike's part is gone and replaced by me. A little known thing is I can rap and I can lower my voice using a modicum of effects and a tone I adapt. All music by me and I have Chesters vox in there

"Theme for Mission Impossible" (cover) based off the Limp Bizkit song "Take A Look Around" for Mission Impossible 2.

"I'm So Sick" (cover) by Flyleaf. Programmed drums by "Doc Artslop" and I did the bass and guitars. Flyleaf vox extracted with AI for effect and laid in for structure. Updated 4.7.24.

"Battle Symphony" (cover) by Linkin Park. Vocals by Topaz. We intentionally went for a more Hybrid Theory approach to this song than the original. I hope people like.

"Pushing Me Away" (cover) by Linkin Park. Vocals by Topaz. I rapped. :D

"Everlong" (cover) by The Foo Fighters. Free Sound Effects from FreesoundO R G - the crowd cheering. Dave Grohl singing (thanks AI!). Not quite finished as there's some octave work after the bridge that I need to nail down better. But I did just learn the song like 3 days before recording it... and 1 day of that was programming those RIDICULOUSLY awesome drums.

"Still Into You" (cover) by Paramore. Vocals by Hayley Williams AI removed from original song and used for effect.

"Rise Above This" cover by Seether - with AI Seether vox

"The Reason" (cover) by Hoobastank. with AI Hoobastank vox

**Numb, Castle Of Glass, Given Up, T-Rex, and Los Angeles will be re-posted when they are better finished. I have enough decent demos for now.**

Topaz and I are seeking at least 4 more people to join us online and eventually in person in the LA area.

We are going for Linkin Park style nu-metal but our own originals and that means we want our:

- other guitar player/multi-instrument aka Brad Delson
- a drummer aka Rob Bourdon
- a bass player aka Dave Farrell
- a scratch artist aka Joe Hahn

Topaz is the Chester and I'm the Mike. :D

EQUIPMENT

Unless otherwise noted - all guitars, bass guitars, drum programming, and synthesizers and SFX done by me. Yamaha Bass Guitar, PRS Custom SE, Ibanez Jiva10, Gibson Studio, Fender Strat (used only on T-Rex so far), Roli Soundblocks and Seaboard, Reaper DAW, Ugritone Drums VST, Surge Synth, Marshall, Mesa Boogie, and Roli Dashboard.

My main guitar is my Paul Reed Smith. I also use my Gibson Studio and Ibanez guitars when I can. My main Bass Guitar is a Yamaha. I have midi gear for sequencers and all that as well.

Mostly, I'm looking for more people to join Topaz and I to form a real band, originals and likely moving to the Los Angeles area or adjacent when the time comes.
