Frontman Starting a NIN/Prodigy/Hollywood Undead Band – Looking for Members

Hello.

I am looking to establish a band from scratch. I have decent experience as a frontman with a previous band of mine that has since been dismantled – due to harshly conflicting schedules. I am very interested in getting back into the magic with a new band but, this time, not as serious. My lifestyle won't allow me to repeat the intensity that I had previously. Nonetheless, I would like to have a creative outlet and enjoy the moment again. I truly enjoyed my experience with my prior band.

While my previous band did Industrial/Aggrotech/Darkwave/Electronic, I am looking to present a different type this time around. Different, nevertheless, slightly similar. I love to have people dance to my music. I would like to create music that has a rock tone with electronic beats to it. A strong highlight would be placed on drums, of course. In my previous band I used vocoders and other software to modify my voice, as is the tradition in harsh Industrial music. This time around I am interested in “keeping it real”, and avoiding the same method of delivery for vocals. For this band, I would like to be the vocalist and lyricist.

The type of music that I am looking to create now is relatively similar to a mix-and-match between Hollywood Undead, Unwritten Law, Skillet, Prodigy, along with other possible muses of the electronic world. Again, I am looking for a blend of rock with harsh chords and electronic beats. The emphasis will be on bass and drums but, certainly, there is room for all of us: keys, guitar, etc. - Everyone plays a part. Interested parties can be either male or female within the age range of 21 - 40.

Regarding myself - the relevant portions of myself - I am a published author, lyricist, music promoter, ex-radio DJ, and singer. I have experience in performing live as well. I really enjoyed being on stage and showcasing new music. I am not at all interested in being a cover band. I believe originality beats anything.

I am not in need of any stuffy individuals. Please know that when it’s time to write and perform, expectations will be made but establishing friends through this project is a decent plus.
