I'm 20 years old, 21 in March. I live in Collingswood NJ. I was in a band for about 3 and 1/2 years so I'm not new to shows, recording, and performing. Due to musical differences the band split. I've been performing and singing as far back as I can remember, with choirs, theater, talent shows etc, so stage fright is not an option for me haha My old band has a myspace you are free to check out which has my vocals from about 2 years ago. Myspace.com/brokensilent. The only song NOT sung by me is Pandemic of Lies, the low screaming is mine though. All the rest of the songs are my vocals, and yes that low growl/scream is infact mine WITHOUT any distortion or alterations. I can write lyrics as well. My vocal range is alto to soprano and I like to think vocally I've grown since the rough demo of my old band. I take music VERY SERIOUSLY

I have my own car as well so transportation is not a problem but I'd like a band that's fairly close.

Here are the things I'm looking for:
A band located within the South Jersey area close or somewhat near(some PA areas as well): Collingswood (Cherry Hill, Deptford, Moorestown, Blackwood, etc)
Members who ACTUALLY want to pursue music with ALL of their heart and souls with a PASSION and perform original music (sorry I'm not looking to do a cover band).
I'm not looking for a Punk or SKA band, my appologies
I'm looking for a heavy sound with melodic riffs something like Trivium meets Evanescence, music that's in your face and beautiful at the same time.

I'm willing to audition and/or make a copy of my current bands rough demo for you.
