I'm a 37 year old guitarist looking to join a serious band and to also have a good time. I have a wealth of experience gigging, and although I don't have unrealistic dreams of stardom, I would definitely take it if it were to come my way... I am a serious band member; trust me. I work, eat sleep this stuff, and have since I was 14.
My last project was the local folk rock band "Birdhouse Gourds" out of Avon Lake. You can check out some of our stuff on be; search "Gregg Thauvette." There are three (3) videos on there of the band playing at the Crooked River Groove. The music wasn't really my thing, but they were a good group of guys too, and we had fun. I figure the videos will at least show you that I can play; I'm the guy in the white t-shirt playing the explorer. We played quite a bit around town, including venues such as The Winchester, Beachland, House of Blues, and even the Tower City Amphitheater once (opened for Hall & Oates, lol).
