ABOUT

I build tube guitar amps and pedals- tweed style tube combo amps with tremolo, 5E3/5F1 12" combo, tube preamp, clean boost, etc.

As a guitarist, I've been called a groove player, and the description fits; I go for the song and play fills and compliment the vocalists and other instruments. I can play rhythm and some lead and fills. I'm from Austin, but I'm not Austin weird. I have a good daytime job, a wife, and grown children. I love to play music, and I've been doing it for 35+ years - in bands, solo, and duets, in clubs, coffee houses, churches, and in living rooms.

I string my bass with flatwounds, and play bass with that deep bottom end like Rick Danko, and muted string bass like sounds.
