I am a male vocalist. I have been singing for only three years but I have developed my talent quickly, even being able to use whistle register (rare in males). I have basic training in most vocal styles and formal training in classical, opera, and choir music (as a bass). I can hit ridiculously low notes in my full voice and I can use falsetto and whistle register to achieve high soprano notes as well. I can sing clean and growl/scream, although I do prefer clean singing (but I definitely won't say no to mixing it up with some death growls in there). I am looking for a progressive metal band or something along those lines; contact me for exact specifications on what I would like to play.

Influences
Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica and James LaBrie from Dream Theater are my biggest influences, because singing in low notes comes very naturally to me; listening to those two singers really pushed me to expand my full voice into the upper notes and experiment with what I can do (it's because of Dream Theater that I discovered my ability to use whistle register when I was messing around one day).
EQUIPMENT
I don't have my equipment as of yet, but I am purchasing a microphone (I haven't chosen one yet) within the month. As it stands I can borrow a microphone from my friend until I have my own.
