Currently just seeking to play with others again after several years stepping away from it as an educational study.
I am classically trained to a low university level almost 10 years; Little to no practice in the last 5 but changing sound by learning Scottish celtic & similar Appalachian techniques. Slowly building a pedal setup.
Playing acoustic, self-taught, for the 5 years I’ve stepped-away from the violin. Strong desires to experiment in traditional techniques: Shetland style fiddle, slack techniques/tunings, Japanese phrasing/melodies, Latin/reggae rhythms, slide techniques
