Band to Join.ABOUT
I started on guitar when I was 15 when my Dad helped buy me a guitar and amp which was his attempt to get me away from video games as they were consuming my life and my Dad was concerned. Once I picked up the guitar I spent hours and hours in my room learning songs every day. A few years later my uncle, who was a major influence to me with music since he had been playing in bands when I was growing up, needed a bassist for his band and offered me the gig if I could quickly pick up bass. So I went and bought a cheap bass and amp just so I could get into my first band.
Once I started learning songs from bands like Primus and Tool I was hooked on the bass and it became my main instrument and I've been slappin' da bass ever since.
I moved to Denver back in the fall of 2010 but before that I was playing in some very talented bands in Dayton Ohio such as Hand of Karma, Silk Abrasion and Chapter of Progress. In those bands I played hundreds of shows all over the region and even got to play the Whiskey Ago-go in LA. I even got to open for some very big bands including Static-X, All That Remains and Mushroomhead, and played some huge shows like X-Fest 2009 which was in front of thousands of people and shared the event with bands like Alice in Chains and Mudvayne.
Currently hoping to get into an electronic/jamtronica/synthrock project but surprisingly enough I've had difficulties finding musicians in Denver with similar interests.
