Working band looking for bass and drums
62 year old harmonica player/vocalist looking for musicians (I've got two good guitarists, we need bass, drummer, others possible) to play the shows we've been offered. We've gotten jobbers to play bass and drums up until now. It's worked out OK, but we'd rather have some steady and committed partners. I've been a working musician with CDs and contacts, and I'm looking for reliable people to keep the band running. If you're looking for a low-key, friendly situation, if you play for fun but wouldn't mind making a little money, maybe if you've gotten away from playing and want to get back to it, let me know.
We'd like to be playing a lot of blues, and would probably start right there, but we're looking for open minded guys with a lot of influences and ability. Classic rock, country, R & B, acoustic not required, but it would be fine if it developed that way. No metal, please, and be the kind of musician who listens while you're playing.
Also available for fill-in gigs if you need a blues vocalist, or as a single if you need an extra guy in your band. Can lead a lot of songs, and capably back up other guys. Team player, pro attitude and presentation.
