My band of 10+ years just ended and I'm looking for my next gig. I'm a 42 yo guitarist who grew up on Cure, REM, U2, Smiths, etc. From there, I moved to Wilco, Modest Mouse, Belle & Sebastian, Eels, Spoon, etc.
My preferred genre is indie rock/americana
I'm happiest playing a mix of rhythm and lead guitar - Robert Smith, Edge, and Isaac Brock are probably my biggest influences.
I was co-lead singer in the old band and the primary songwriter. I'd like to keep writing songs but would prefer not to be the lead singer. I'm happy to sing a little.
I'm executive director of a nonprofit and have kids, so music is a hobby for me. I'm committed, but not ready to drop everything and tour. ;-)
