I’m a singer in my 30s seeking to record music or sing live or pretty much anything to do with singing and music. I’m a wife, mom, and was toddler teacher by day (laid off as of last year due to my classroom losing kids over the Covid scare) and now I have a little more free time as a result. I’ve been singing since I was a kid and always had that in my heart. I still sing all the time and record in my home once in a while. I’ve been recently learning piano and writing songs and composing some a bit through garage band and using audacity, plus using some of my time to take an online music course. I make it a priority to take great care of my voice. I have a wide vocal range and can sing any Celine Dion song, even most French ones. (Fun fact: I’m French Canadian through my dad’s side and she’s my 5th cousin.) I definitely prefer her edgier songs. If you’re familiar with her Taking Chances album, that whole album is my jam. I’m pretty open to anything as far as singing goes. I love to try new things vocally and would even love to refine my own recorded songs sometime in a real studio with some people who know more about production and mastering. This could be for fun, for profession, whatever comes of it. I’m up for jamming, practicing, doing gigs, writing and recording, etc and willling to make the time for it and travel locally to meet/work. Besides being a mother to my beautiful children, music is my life. I just strongly feel like I need to be singing and musically involved outside my own home. I really wanna connect with other musical people. I have no problem performing live for crowds, either, whenever that opportunity is available again.
