Been playing in the church for a few years.
Started out as vocals, but could not continue due to a medical condition (ears popping during singing, really annoying).
Then learned chords on a classic guitar where I wrote a few basic songs; background guitarist for 1 year.
Then played piano for a few sessions live, also in church, wasn't very good, definitely not solo, but background for 2 years.
Picked up bass after that, for 4 years, very motivated, but stopped in 2007 due to moving into a new neighborhood, and no more band members.
Picked up sax again after a year, and now have 2 years of sax practice, no live performances yet.
I also played the EWI live, about 2 years of live experiences.
I only studied 2 years of reading notes, back in the late 1980's. Forgot most of it.
I play by ear, am a creative musician, find it easy to play new things, hard to play repeated patterns. Play style depends on mood. Bad mood, and I play in the background. Good mood, and I'll add more to the music, but never sound overpowering!
