ABOUT

The Vanity Plates have a goal: It is to give the music fans fun rock songs that sound unique, catchy and authentic. Our originals harken back to jammin bands like the Kinks, The Animals or Bob Dylan (electric era). We sound like The Stones meets the Gin Blossoms. We're are taking the golden era of rock and roll and giving it to the fans straight, with accessible lyrics and a catchy choruses.

We want a drummer who has experience playing live. We have a big rehearsal space in Bethesda, Md all to ourselves. Drums are already set up. Our current drummer is now our lead guitar player 'cause he's a stud. We want a local drummer who will commit. We are finishing our current album, available on itunes this spring. We want you to start playing out with us ASAP and work with us on our next album. We use Omega Studio in Rockville, Md because we want the best possible quality. Contact me soon if you want to audition for The Vanity Plates!
