I started playing the acoustic guitar when I was a teenager, mostly hobby level. I put it all on the back burner when I joined the Army. Now that I'm retired I bought an electric guitar and started learning the basics all over again. My goal is to be a member of a band and play gigs. For now I keep practicing. This seemed like a good place to talk with folks already doing that.
