Hey everyone! I am currently attending college, and I am looking for a band that I can experiment with my voice a little. I have never really sang with a band, and I am looking forward to doing it someday. I'm not cocky about my talents, and I hate people that are. I played the trumpet for about 8 years throughout high school, but I quit that after I graduated. I am looking to possibly write my own music someday. I just don't quite have enough experience to do that, and I am looking for a band that might have this capability, or else singing awesome modern contemporary Christian songs is always awesome. I am considered a baritone...I have a rich, low voice, and I am working on my range and 'mixed voice'. I am considering voice lessons if I can't figure this stuff out on my own :) I am learning to play the acoustic guitar, and some piano.

Influences:

Here are some of my favorite people/bands: MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Mark Schultz, The Calling, Selah, Ryan Star, The Fray, Josh Groban, Chris Rice, Evanescence, The Calling...I like a lot of different styles of music, but I hate rap, and the really hard rock that is all screaming--that isn't music in my opinion :)
