After spending 32 years (and 9 months in the womb) enamored with music, I'd like to begin making money at it. Why not? With a little practice, I can probably play anything that's playable on the drums. I don't know... try me. :) I like anything soulful, which can include much of classic rock, blues, southern rock. I also latch the F*** on to technical parts, and I stand in ecstatic, humbling gratitude at the sacred works of J.S. Bach. I want to tell some stories that need to be told, as in the manner of folk music. In the meantime, as I find my voice, I'd like to start by getting more gigging experience on drums, or other things if appropriate.

Influences
DRUMMING: my own highly limb-integrated, n-tuple-based style. If you like funk, I have definite aptitude, and could learn it much more. Also, some southern rock, and a little Danny Carey.
VOCALS: Blues, Classic rock, Iowa All-State choir experience.
LEAD GUITAR: Like the vocals, but you'd also need to hear me improvise alongside something. I'm currently inhibited by much technical rust but a few sparks of inspiration can usually hit, regardless.
COMPOSITION: J.S. Bach, Mozart/Hayden, Beethoven. Bach is best but hardly human. The others are easier to mimic. I love the most dire stuff, like "Herr Unser Herrscher:" the opening of Bach's St. John Passion. Inquire for more if you like that... ;D

Drums: Yamaha Stage Custom. Zildjan New Beat hats. "Clean"ish metal ride. DW7000 double pedals. Drum mics/amplifier.
Guitars: One Stratocaster nockoff, (Alvarez Classic II??), one Vinci acoustic.
2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac: full size cab, short bed with topper. 5-speed.
