I Played regionally out of Minneapolis for twenty years prior to moving out to the PNW in 2009 (harmonica and lead vocals). I've been relatively quiet since except for annual trips back east to play with old bandmates and hitting the open jams around Tacoma. I'm looking to form or join a band to play creative covers of bands like The Dead, The Band, Little Feat, Stones and such, as well as eventually write originals with. Musical flexibility, eclectic tastes and the ability to improvise and stretch out a jam is key. Looking to eventually gig 1-4 times a month.
(Quick note about the music samples below- It's a mix of original home demos and acoustic covers, with me singing lead on all except track 2. Although the originals were by me, they were written quite a while ago and aren't exactly indicative of what I'm looking to write now. I only included them to demonstrate a certain baseline songwriting ability.)
