ABOUT

I am a singer Singer/Songwriter/ actress! Shanalee is a triple-treat born in Kingston Jamaica and raise in Queens, New York. Passionate about singing since the age of three, her family migrated to the United States when she was 4 years old. Shanalee lived with her mom and dad until the age of 11, when her parents got divorced.

As a teenager, she channeled her emotions through songwriting and poetry. Shanalee attended Humanities and the Arts HS, where she deepened her love for music and acting.
She went on to study musical theater at Queensborough College where she majored in musical theatre and performed in several stage productions.

In 2018, Shanalee released her debut visual EP Phases. Inspired by the sounds of hip hop rnb and regaee, Shanalee created a unique blended sound of her own. Following Phases release, Shanalee went on to star in several short films.

In 2020 Shanalee dropped her album American Dream on all streaming platforms. She continues her love of music and plans to release more music this Fall. Coming this summer, Shanalee is set to star in Stax Cordo's film, ‘I Am Relentless”
