ABOUT

I'm really a songwriter more than anything, I can do lead, rhythm, acoustic, high gain, ambient whatever type of guitar playing but the stuff I write is fairly simple, effective, and somewhat meaningful in a lyrical sense. I tend to throw the listener off as generally the chord progressions and melodies I use are upbeat and almost happy sounding yet the lyrics tend to be poignant, honest and sometimes dark.

Influences

Everything from Dead Kennedys and black flag to joe pug and muddy waters. I will admit, as a 10 year old, the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place and wanted to make my own songs was 100% because of the dookie album by Greenday...though my tastes have expanded vastly since then, an underlying theme of melodic and catchy hooks have continued to haunt my work.
