SEEKING

Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Upright bass.

ABOUT

My band is seeking a drummer. My band's music isn't posted here though. We play Americana and blues, sometimes it rocks or gets a bit jazzy. Would gig some if it's a good fit. We rehearse weekly in Scarborough with a drum set on site. The three of us are 50+ y.o. (vox/guitar/harmonica; guitar/vox; bass/vox).

I am also interested in jamming with others. I can play lead/rhythm guitar, sing some, some blues harmonica, also some bass, though tend to keep that simple.

______________

I'm an intermediate to advanced level guitar player. Most of the recordings posted here are first-take improvised leads over a rhythm guitar loop I put down on a pedal. Some with a live drummer, some I've added bass and drum tracks. Just exploring some ideas really. Also three rough demos from a band I was in several years ago. I enjoy throwing out musical ideas/progressions and improvising. Would like to meet up with others or consider joining a group (I'm over 50). Would like like to stay reasonably close to Scarborough.

I'm also into twangy alt-country/rock which isn't represented here. I sing some tunes, and continue to work on that. I also play some blues harmonica. I have hacked around on a banjo, but not much recently.
