ABOUT

*Looking to start a band or join one.*
I write music for fun, and I have been getting better and better with each song I write. I am very passionate about learning and playing metal music. My favorite genre's are usually subgenre's of metal and some rock type stuff. I have 3+ years of guitar playing, but I am confident in my ability to learn fast. I bought a bass recently mostly to track bass for my music, but plan to learn more about it. I also plan on getting an electronic drumkit to do the same. You can look at my stuff on s0undcl0ud idiralilra. I am also on spotify on the artist Idira. You can reach me at acusson802(at gee-male dot)com

Influences

I draw a lot of inspiration from electronic metalcore bands (I know, pretty cringey) but I do find myself seeing similarities in what I make with stuff like Architects, BMTH, Of Mice & Men. I also draw inspiration from heavier metal like Whitechapel, Gojira, Lorna shore.

EQUIPMENT

I own an Epiphone acoustic guitar, an Epiphone SG 6 string with a tremolo bar, an Ibanez 6 string also with a tremolo, an Ibanez 7 string, and a Ibanez 5 string bass with EMGs. My only physical equipment to play on is a 12" cab Fender Deluxe paired with an Orange micro dark and a small assortment of basic pedals (Distortion, Overdrive, Whammy, and an EQ Pedal). Although my recording equipment is very simple, I own a nice microphone (Audio Technica 2020), a simple behringer DAC for recording my guitars on my DAW with a huge collection of VSTs to use like amp simulators and drumkit vsts)
