ABOUT

I have been playing drums for many years on and off again. I want to be a part of a group that likes to have fun and play music. I'm not looking for a busy schedule of playing every week, but would enjoy a monthly venue. I have the chops, ear, and ability to adapt to many musical styles. I like to have fun, but want a serious group of people that are just not in it for the money.

Influences

My favorite drummer is Steve Gadd. I grew up listening to him and have picked up some of his style here and there. I don't compare myself to him of course, but he is my drumming idol. I have played anything from latin, disco, funk, rock, and some jazz. I studied classical guitar at UM and took drum lessons for several years. My sight reading is not up to par, but have a great ear and timing. I also enjoy playing and listening music by The Police, Chick Corea, Mana, Journey, Super Tramp and others....
