Former touring musician who now has a non-music career and settled, but still love jamming on evenings and weekends - Saturdays especially I'm free to work on music all day and night. I'm not trying to tour anymore or play weekly gigs, so if your main goal is to make it big, we won't be the best fit. Mostly just looking for one or a few musicians to get together with and collaborate on some tunes, ideally at my place or within a 30 minute drive of Sanford. Wouldn't mind playing a weekend gig once a month or so, but that's not necessary. Also happy to just do some laid back jamming and maybe play an open mic every once in a while if we feel like it.

I'm a melodic bassist and like to keep my lines in motion, but also enjoy hanging on some roots when it serves the song. I'm not into shredding and grandstanding. I much prefer laid-back, interesting interplay between musicians working together. Not looking to drill super complicated prog or mathy stuff. Just prefer songs based on a few chords that we can groove and improvise a bit on -- probably in a folky jam or roots rock kind of direction.

I can sing and play guitar too, but bass is where I'm happiest. I've got a lot of original songs, but would prefer to come up with new stuff or develop preexisting material if you have songs you'd like to work on.

It doesn't bother me if you like to light up the herb while playing, but I prefer to have a beer or two instead. When it comes to politics and religion, to each their own, but I'm not a fan of the extremes, so if it's all you think/talk about, we're probably not going to gel.
