ABOUT

Nothing like singing and playing with others! Grew up with an extended family of music lovers, singers and players; love to harmonize, took piano lessons for a decade as a child, sang in choirs and school groups, then as time went on found myself being an enthusiastic partaker of music at concerts and any musical gathering, but missed participating. Picked up a mandolin a few years back, very much enjoy it and play it mostly as rhythm but improving playing melody with lessons. It's such a sweet sounding instrument and fun to sing with. Needs to play with others to really shine. I added electric bass to my plate because it's a good counterpoint to the mandolin and so much fun too. I've been working hard to learn this, playing/practicing minimum 2 hours every day and often more. Also taking lessons. I am a team player, much prefer to support others in a group as an instrumentalist and backup singer if the shoe fits. I guess this is the place to brag but I do have a great ear for artful harmonizing, honed by years of family singing and daily practice. Just really desire to play with others, have fun, and improve. I also have an accordion I am getting better at as the other instruments are helping crack the code. Thank you for wading through all this!
